North of the city, Lago Bracciano is a relaxing lake area with plenty of nature and three interesting Medieval villages along the shore, complete with castles, churches and villas – a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Rome. After the fall of the erstwhile Soviet Union , The People's Republic of China ( PRC ) remains the largest communist state anywhere in the world. The Zhonghua Renmin Gongheguo , as it is officially known, came into being on October 1, 1949. It is the fourth largest country in the world in terms of land area with Beijing as its capital city. It is divided into 23 sheng or provinces, 5 autonomous zizhiqu or regions and 4 shi or municipalities. The Chinese terrain is mostly mountainous. There are vast deserts like the Gobi in the West while fertile deltas and plains lie mainly in the east. The largest river is the Yangtze Kiang. Having the largest population in the world, China has several ethnic nationalities – the Han being the largest group followed by Zhuang , Uygur , Mongols , Manchu , Tibetans and others. The official language is Mandarin Chinese , dialects like Cantonese and Hakka are also popular in some regions. Though China is officially atheist, there are Buddhists, Taoists and a small minority of Christians and Muslims.

Itinerary:
Day 1 - USA - Lisbon. Board your overnight transatlantic flight to Lisbon. Dinner and breakfast are served on board.
Day 2 - Arrive Lisbon. Arrive Lisbon. Meet your Priest, tour guide and fellow pilgrims. After an orientation drive through Lisbon, we stop and visit St. Anthony's Church. Despite what might be assumed from his name, Saint Anthony was born and grew up in Lisbon. Traditionally, the invocation of his name is considered the best means of locating lost objects. Dinner and overnight in Lisbon.
Days 3 - Lisbon - Santarem - Fatima. After breakfast depart Lisbon for Santarem, where one of the oldest cities in the world is located. We will walk through its narrow streets to the Church of St Stephen, containing the oldest recorded Eucharistic miracle. This miracle has been on continuous display since 1269. We then continue on to Fatima, the place where the Blessed Mother appeared in 1917 to three simple shepherd children and exhorted mankind to pray for world peace. Dinner and overnight in Fatima
Days 4 to 7 - Fatima. Start off your days by going to Mass at the Little Chapel of the Apparitions. Your escort and tour guide will be advising you about your day by day itinerary upon arrival however, by the time your trip ended you would have seen Fatima as well as experienced the beauty of this spiritual town. We will see the Basilica, the site of Francesco and Jacinta's graves, the Hamlet of Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady's appearance after the children's return from prison. Experience Christ's love as you walk and follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra (The Sacred Way) culminating in the Chapel of Calvary, which overlooks all of Fatima. Join pilgrims from around the world in an evening candlelight procession to pray the rosary. Don't forget your white handkerchief for the Adeus farewell, when pilgrims wave a loving farewell to the statue of Our Lady of the Rosary. Join your prayers with those of pilgrims from around the world as you pray for the sick, drink water from the miraculous well. Attend the blessing of the sick and participate in nightly candlelight processions requested by Our Lady. Time for private devotions before dinner and overnight.*
Day 8 - Fatima - Lisbon - USA. You will depart for your homebound flight back to the USA.*The last 3 nights Catholic Priest may not be accompanying group.
